80x94mm Red Morocco leather with flower design embossed on front. Two latches, lined with purple plush with formal motif. Edged with gold leaf line design. Plain rectangular gilt mat with rounded top. Pinchbeck frame. 56x68mm half portrait of elderly lady seated in chair holding book. Wearing stripped dress. Ribbons tinted in pale blue. Face and hands tinted pink. Gilt on brooch. Velvet back.
