Case design - Ornamental Circle Theme Variant (Rinhart). 80x93mm Red Morocco leather case embossed both siides. Edges finished in gold leaf . Two latches. Lined with red plush with rose motif in centre with scrolls around outside. Plain rectangular gilt mat with rounded corners. Patterned pinchbeck frame. Case edged inside with gold leaf. Lacquer back. 55x62mm half length portrait of young gentleman. Face tinted. gold leaf on skirt.
