105x135mm red Morocco leather with formal design stamed on front. Two latches. Lined with plain purple plush, edged with gold leaf pattern. Plain oval gilt mat, no frame. Lacquer and paper back. 'Ross & Thomson Photo. to the Queen, Edinburgh' stamped in gold. Case desing 'A Frame Design' (variant). 73x93mm half portrait of elderly lady seated wearing bonnet and reading letter. Fully tinted.
