130x180mm red Morocco leather hanging frame with single ring. Plain oval gilt mat and patterned pinchbeck frame. Gold leaf pattern around edge of frame. Lacquer back. 'W G Smith, 11 Prospect Place, Southampton' in gold, stamped on back. 100x140mm three quarter portrait of very elderly lady seated in plush chair. Wearing white lacey cap and ribbons. Slight tinting on chair binding and lady's brooch and ring.
