130x175mm red Morocco leather case embossed with formal desing in four corners, both sides. Two latches. Lined with plain red plush. Inside edged with gold leaf design. Plain rectangular gilt mat with domed top. Bound with narrow gold paper. Pinchbeck Frame. Velvet back. 100x145mm three quarter portrait of officer (captain?) of Royal Susex Regiment. Seated, helmet placed on table. Fully tinted. Badly faded and scratched, some tarnish.
