95x120mm black leather case with two latches. Plain red satin lining. Rectangular gilt mat. Bound but no frame. Original paper backing in pieces at back of frame, old Calcutta newspaper dated December 1st 1849. Daguerreotype three quarter length portrait of middle aged gentleman, three quarter face. Seated.
