85x110mm red Morocco leather case with two latches. Case rather battered with warped lid and peeling leather. Lined with plain red plush. Octagonal paper mat inside rectangular gilt mat with rounded corners. No frame, picture bound. 55x70mm daguerreotype half length portrait full face of elderly gentleman, wearing waistcoat. Tarnished around edges.
