Linesman's detector
Linesman's detector. Rectangular box with circular dial at the front. Three terminals and brass ring on top. Catch on left side opens back to show two fixed coils wound with blue material. Magnetizing needle drawn into coils when a current is passed through them, indicating strength and direction of the current. Scale is marked 0-90 both sides of centre-zero.
