Gelatin silver print entitled 'Mr and Mrs M and their four children lived in a council owned house in Vincent Crescent, Balsall Heath. The property was in poor condition, no hot water, no bathroom, the outside lavatory did not work. Floorboards were broken and the inside walls were all running with damp'. Photograph by Nick Hedges.
