Mr & Mrs Towers…
Gelatin silver print entitled 'November 1970, Granby Street, Liverpool 8. Mr & Mrs Towers lived with their 3 teenage children at the back of a butcher's shop. Their living room in which the photographs were taken, was above the refrigerated storeroom so the floor was like a block of ice. The electric wiring in the kitchen was faulty, so she cooked on the fire. See interview P18 "Happy Christmas", photographed by Nick Hedges.
