Oval verge escapement watch. Engraved gilt-brass case with an engraved silver band and winding hole with shutter. Gilt-brass dial plate with applied engraved silver dial. Movement with pinned on balance cock, signed 'G Petit Fecit'. London, c.1630.

Petit is recorded by trade a watch casemaker, and although his cases may survive in large numbers they cannot be identified.
