This photograph is taken from the picture archive of the Daily Herald, a British daily newspaper, published in London from 1912 to 1964.

As well as containing the photographic prints and negatives created by the newspaper's in house picture library to illustrate and accompany articles in the newspaper, it also holds publicity images produced by film production and distribution companies to market their movies.
