Original caption reads 'Petra meets her grand-puppies on TV. Petra, the mongrel bitch of BBC television's twice-weekly 'Blue Peter' programme, met her three grand-puppies for the first time in the programme to-day (Thursday). She is pictured (left) at the Lime Grove television studios in Shepherd's Bush, London, with the pups, their mother Candy and 13-year-old Andrew Hedges, who looks after Candy and her litter in Woking Grange children's home and was appearing on the TV programme with them. He has named the three-weeks-old pups Dandy, Brandy, and Mandy. Candy, their 'mum', was one of the eight puppies born to Petra.'
