The Hunt (for Christmas tree thieves)
New Forest, Hampshire: Well hidden in the ferns, these hunters are not out for game - but are on the watch for seasonal thieves who plunder the young Christmas trees in the New Forest plantations. From left to right are Keeper Benny Bessent, Keeper Monty Slighton and Keeper Bert Smith. Between now and Christmas close watch will be kept on the trees by the gamekeepers. Police are also patrolling the area.
