CAROL · III'D•G• HISPET IND'R Bust of king to right, in armour, wearing the badge of the Order of the Golden Fleece ; below, 1778 Rev. IN UTROQ · FELIX · AUSPICE' DEO DA Crowned shield with the arms of the Bourbon kings of Spain, surrounded by the collar of the Golden Fleece; the shield dividing the mark of value 8s. Wt. 416.8 grains (27.01 grams). Bequeathed by Miss M. E. Waldo-Sibthorp. V&A no. 1632-1902.
