Coin, silver (recently gilt). Two Reales of Carlos III. Obv.VTRA QVE VNVM. A crown surmounting two hemispheres between the pillars of Hercules, encircled by scrolls inscribed PLVS VLTRA ; below, M:1761.M. Rev. CAR III'D'G'HISP'ET IND'R. Crowned shield with the aims of Spain between mark of value R 2. Wt. 105.4 grains (6.83 grams). Bequeathed by Miss M. E. Waldo-Sibthorp. V&A no. 1640-1902. Originally catalogued with 1640-1902 to 1640C-1902.
