High frequency quartz wristwatch made by Smiths in a stainless-steel case with two setting crowns and stainless-steel bracelet. Incorporating an electronic on/off switch for accurate setting of watch. Dial with day and date apertures, centre seconds and marked 'Q Quasar quartz 1.5Mhz MADE IN GT BRITAIN'. Movement with an AT-cut quartz crystal producing a frequency of 1,548,288 Hz, integrated circuit, stepper motor and battery.
