One photograph of 3 male workers removing the outer mould of a new bell for the Liverpool Cathedral, titled 'Liverpool Cathedral Bell Cast'. Caption on back reads: 'Today Messrs. Mears and Stainbank of Whitechapel Road, removed the outer mould revealing the huge bell, the largest of a ring of 13, for the Liverpool Cathedral. The bell is named Emmanuel. It was a week ago since the bell was cast and it was still quite hot today when the mould was removed'.
