Daily Herald Photograph: Tithe War

One photograph titled ‘Pigs immortalized’. Caption on the back reads: ‘One hundred and thirty four pigs are immortalized in a memorial which was unveiled today at Wortham, Suffolk. The pigs were seized for distraint a year ago from the farm of Mr. R. H. RASH- and the monument commemorates the “tithe war” which the seizure occasioned.’ Image includes crop marks.
