Daily Herald Photograph: Testing echo-free room

One photograph titled 'And scientists jump up in the air' show four men jump inside a room designed to be echo-free, vibration-free, sound-free and airtight. The published article attached to the back of the photograph describes how the room, made of rubber mounted on steel mesh, is being built at Salford University by scientists Michael McCormick, Brian Day, Peter Lord and Robin Monk.
