AA (Automobile Association) road sign showing an arrow left and "COVID-19 vaccination centre", used to direct people to their vaccine appointments at Harlequins Rugby Union ground, The Stoop, Twickenham between 4 February and 30 August 2021

Fixed to a post near Harlequins Rugby Union ground, The Stoop, this sign helped people travel to their COVID-19 vaccination. Over 7 months, 75,000 doses were given by staff and volunteers during booked appointments and walk-in sessions. While closed due to coronavirus restrictions, many community centres, sporting grounds, leisure centres, religious venues and nightclubs became pop-up or outreach vaccination clinics.

The AA provided, free of charge, over 2,000 signs to direct people to temporary vaccine hubs. The service includes production, distribution, fitting and maintenance of the signs, as well as removal and recycling at the end of the vaccination programme.
