Shure AXT200 hand-held radio microphone. Plus AXT920 dedicated battery pack. This microphone was one of many used in the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the London 2012 Olympics.

This hand-held microphone has an integrated transmitter, making it self-contained on stage. Performers have freedom to move anywhere, whilst retaining the opportunity to use the mic as a prop whilst performing. The AXT200 uses Shure’s Frequency Diversity technology which allows the paired receiver to continuously monitor signal quality and switch between frequencies to maintain sound quality at all times.

This particular example is one of many used in the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2021 Olympics in London.
