Street View Hyderabad by Lala Deen Dayal
Lala Deen Dayal (1844—1904) was a leading photographer in India. Initially training as an engineer, Deen Dayal became a skilled artist. By the 1870s, Deen Dayal had established himself as an exclusive photographer, travelling widely and receiving commissions from wealthy patrons. In the 1887 Deen Dayal moved his business to Hyderabad and was commissioned by the sixth Nizam (Mehboob Ali Khan) to photograph their palace interiors, scenic views and opulent lifestyle.
