Correspondence, designs, plans, photographs and other records relating to Reginald Hackworth Young’s employment including records relating to oven design, fans, ventilation of mines, wind tunnels work and English Electric, Woods of Colchester, Sturtevants, the War Office, National College of Heating, Ventilating, Refrigeration and fan engineering. Career records including diaries, correspondence and lectures. Archive material relating of Reginald Hackworth Young (1 box containing 12 files. 1972-1999) and his daughter Jane Hackworth Young in relation to recognition for Timothy Hackworth and setting up of the Timothy Hackworth Museum, Shildon including records relating to the origins of the NRM Locomotion site, Shildon. Jane Hackworth Young’s research on Stockton and Darlington Railway House plaques (1 box, 2004-2018) research into people who lived in the houses and their jobs on the Stockton and Darlington Railway from 1825-1857.
