Wooden drawer from a medicine chest containing ten bottles of oil with vellum coverings. Drawer: 245mm x 90 mm x 60 mm, 390 g. Although most of the bottles are not labelled, a few are legible including 'Olio del gran duce', 'Olio coni. Veleni' and 'Olio de Spasimo'. Unknown maker, probably Italian.

Astronomical telescope, 1675-1700. This is one of the earliest items in the King George III collection of scientific instruments, and was probably made by Christopher Cock of London. It has two lenses which give an inverted image and provides a magnification of about 30.
