Digital film 'It’s Quicker by Hearse', made by Esther Johnson, 2013. This film is the tale of the petitioning housewife, the protesting schoolboy and the campaign trail student. It is a documentary about the campaign to save the Waverley Route Borders railway line in 1968, following the recommendations of Dr Richard Beeching’s report, the Reshaping of British Railways. Features interviews with Madge Elliot, Kim Elliot and Bruce McCartney. Master edit QuickTime digital file and Blu Ray High Definition disc. Colour, stereo sound, 16:9 aspect ratio.
