Made in Japan for Taylor-Merchant Corporation of New York. Folding card viewer with two lenses, opal plastic diffusers with slide reproduction of Byzantine Court, Crystal Palace, from earlier stereograph.

A "Viewmaster" stereoviewer demonstration unit in the form of a globe with internal electric illumination, c. 1960. Four stereoviewers attached to the globe. With three stereo cards in the viewers. Overall (approx): 490 mm x 450 mm x 380 mm.

Nickel plated brass base carrying clipper arms with pivoted lens panel with eye shade and stereo card holder with spring clips. Eyeshade lined with silk and black velvet. Patented July 5th 1881. Made in the USA.
