The postcards show exterior and interior views, views of the garden and occasionally groups of residents. The homes were: Herne Bay; Bridge House, Dawlish; the old Wool Hall, Lavenham; Trenython, Par; Shottendane, Margate (for women); Ascog Mansion, Isle of Bute; The Bedford, Buxton; The Old Abbey, Llandudno; Leasowe Castle, Cheshire; and Ardenlea, Ilkley. Postcard, card, Public Ownership for our Railways, campaigning postcard issued by the Action for Rail campaign to protest against fare increases and continuing private ownership, 2014. Includes a tear-off section to post to MPs. Action for Rail was organised by various trade unions and campaign groups and their logos are on the card, including Bring Back British Rail and the National Pensioners Convention.
