The videos and discs were compiled mainly by TNS Media Intelligence for GNER and later National Express East Coast. The clips cover the reporting of the East Coast main line, inlcuding GNER's winning and loss of the franchise, National Express gaining the franchise, break-downs, disruption, accidents including Great Heck (Selby) and Hatfield, GNER's competition with Grand Central, and 'feel good' coverage such as train travel to the Bollywood Oscars, GNER's opera aboard a train, and GNER's appearance in 'Cheese and Tomato Toasties', an episode of the children's programme 'Me Too!'. There are also two GNER internal discs, one on the refurbishment of the HSTs and a powerpoint on the new wifi service. 41 DVDs and 14 VHS cassettes.

Leaflet describing GNER's bid to win a new franchise for operating on the East Coast Main Line when their current franchise expires in April 2005. With card attached for people to return to GNER Ltd. (Great North Eastern Railway Ltd.) registering their support and giving comments. Distributed by GNER at their stations in November 2004. Cover is a photograph of a GNER employee in uniform.

Leather-bound volumes with card boxes, plastic album and files covers, card and paper, Great Heck Accident Books of Condolence and sympathy letters and cards, gathered by GNER (Great North Eastern Railway), Feb. to Apr. 2001. The books were placed at various GNER stations and were signed by GNER staff, staff from other railway companies and industry bodies, MPs and the travelling public. They are accompanied by an album and file of sympathy cards, and a file of copies of sympathy letters received by Christopher Garnett, GNER Chief Executive. The Great Heck accident occured on 28 Feb. 2001. 3 GNER staff and a Freightliner driver were among the 10 fatalities. It is the worst rail accident of the 21st century. 17 volumes, 2 files, 1 album, currently in 4 archive boxes and 1 outsize archive box.
