ABI PRISM® 377 DNA Sequencer, made by Applied Biosystems, with a Power Mackintosh G3 computer and keyboard, made c.1990. This sequencer was first purchased in the 1998 by the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and later transferred to Sheffield Hallam University in 2004 for use by the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing, Department of Biosciences and Chemistry.
