Parts from disassembled Lancashire loom, made by J. & R. Shorrock. Late 19th Century. Comprised of large metal frame with gear at side with two frames and a number of parts inside four Really Useful Boxes. The Really useful boxes have been numbered and description below lists parts inside boxes: Box 1 located at top front of pallet. 3 x layers of parts. Top layer: 2 semi-circular gears. 1 x metal hook. 1 x metal part with screws. 1 x metal bar with cut-outs. 1 x metal part with metal bar. Middle Layer: 1 x circular metal part with metal bars. 1x metal bar with serrations and cut-outs, 1 x metal bar with cut-outs. 1 x metal part with curved ends and cut-outs. Bottom Layer. 2 x metal gears. 1 x metal bar with serrations and cut-outs. 1 x metal part with cut-outs and screw. 1 x metal bar with cut-outs. Box 2 located at bottom front of pallet. 3 x layers Top layer: 4 x metal parts with forked ends. Middle layer. 1 x thin metal part, 1 x metal circular part with bars. 4 x small metal parts with pronged ends. 1 x metal weight with handle. Bottom Layer: 1 x metal bar with cut-outs. 1 x metal bar with hooked ending. 1 x metal weight. 1 x small metal part with pronged end. 1 x metal cylinder with circular attachment Box 3 located at top back of pallet 2 x Layers of heavier and larger parts. Top Layer: 1 x geared mechanism. 1 x metal part with forked ends. 1 x metal part with central hole. Bottom layer: 2 x metal parts with indents. 1 x large metal circular mechanism. Box 4. Located at Bottom Back of pallet 3 x layers. Top Layer: Wooden pole with rectangular end with hole in and metal peg at other end. Middle Layer: Metal bar with serrations. Bottom Layer: Small metal part with pronged end. Geared mechanism. Metal bar with cut-outs. Small circular wooden part with square hole.

Parts from a disassembled Lancashire loom, made by J. & R. Shorrock. Late 19th Century. Comprised of metal and wooden parts on pallet. Wrapped parts at front of pallet: 1 x Metal bar with metal attachments. 1 x Hooked metal bar with metal attachment. 1 x Metal Pole with metal attachments. Wrapped parts in middle of pallet: 1 x Shaped metal part with curved pronged end. 1 x Metal bar with teeth/indentations at base and cog and wheel at one end. 1 x Small metal part with 2 feet and curved pronged end. Wrapped parts at back of pallet: 1 x Metal bar twisted at ends with slots in metal at middle. 1 x Wooden bar with screws and metal strip at back. 1 x Metal bar with gear at end and metal attachments. 1 x Metal bar with teeth/indentations at base and cog and wheel. Large parts strapped to pallet: 3 x rollers (2 x wooden, 1 x wood with metal textured parts like grater) 1 x flat metal frame. 1 x metal pole with large wheel at one end. 1 x Wooden and metal part
