Flint (a rough lump of chalcedony, length 1 3/8 in), steel (exactly like that from Shanghai noticed above, no. 180), and tinder (threads of cotton, twisted and plaited, dyed yellow, and inserted in a very small tube of bamboo, diam. 3/8 in); used by the Batang-Lupar Dyaks of the Kapuas River, Dutch Borneo; collected in August 1912 by Mr. J.
