Footage of Shrewsbury station signs, platform, steam passenger train arriving, steam locomotive No. 7025 'Sudeley Castle' shunting, coupled to train, fitted with 'Cambrian Coast Express' nameplate, train departing station, arrivals and departures of steam trains, electric multiple unit (EMU), shunting, including shots of steam locomotives No. 42389, No. 1017 'County of Hereford', No. 9657, No. 7815, No. 6018, young trainspotters on platform watching trains passing, some shots featuring Shrewsbury’s Severn Bridge Junction signal box in the background. A film made for Railway Roundabout BBC TV, by John Adams and Patrick Whitehouse. This is the original master film reel, colour, silent. Duration: 6 minutes 30 seconds
