Painting, oil, Glorious Devon, by Louis Burleigh Bruhl, about 1928. Depicts a view of the Devon coast, looking over a sandy beach towards a village nestled in a wooded cliff, with a lighthouse on a promontory in the distance. A sailign boat emerges from the harbour, while a fisherman beaches a rowing boat. To the left a pair of palm trees on a rocky outcrop frame the scene. Original artwork for Great Western Railway poster. Framed and glazed.
