60x75mm embossed red Morocco leather case with gold leaf around edge. At one time having single latch. Rectangular gilt mat with fluted edges. Flower patterned pinchbeck frame. Daguerreotype half portrait of young woman full face. Wearing tartan dress. Face tinted pink. Gilt necklace and rings. Slightly tarnished at bottom edge.
