60x75mm badly faded red Morocco leather case with single latch. Plain plush lining, once red but now faded to gold. Rectangular gilt mat with domed top. Bound but not framed. 40x55mm daguerreotype half length portrait of elderly lady full face. Face tinted pink. Cap tinted pale blue. Gilt on brooch and necklace. Slightly tarnished around edges.
