80x95mm cloth case decorated with 'Medallion of Three Roses' desing both sides. Single latch. Patterend red plush lining (faded). Plain rectangular gilt mat with Tudor rose patterend pinchbeck frame. 55x70mm daguerreotype portrait of middle aged lady seated, full face. Wearing frilled bonnet and clamping book open.
