80x93mm red Morocco leather case with two latches. Lined with plain dark red plush. Inside edge surrounded by gold leaf design. Rectangular mat with domed top. Unbound and not framed. 58x70mm daguerreotype three quarter length portrait of gentleman. Face and hands tinted pink. Badly tarnished. Exposed on Christofle plate.
