95x122mm red Morocco leather case with two latches. Lined with plain dark red plush. Plain gilt rectangular mat with domed top. 65x90mm daguerreotype three quarter length portrait of elderly gentleman seated by table, full face. Face tinted pink. Shirt and trousers pale blue. Gilt on ring and watch fob and shirt front. Plate according to old catalogue 'JP' plate with device in corner.
