97x123mm red Morocco leather case with press-in fastneing and hinged back. Lined with very dark red plain plush. Rectangular gilt mat with domed top. 65x90mm daguerreotype three quarter length portrait of young woman standing by ornate table. Lace shawl and basket of flowers on table. Fully tinted with gilt on woman's ring and necklace. Gilt on table stand and around edges of top.
