125x155mm red Morocco leather case (bottom half only) with single catch. Case edged in gold leaf pattern. Oval gilt mat with 'J Gurney, 349 Broadway' stamped on it. Patterned pinchbeck frame. Not bound. 85x115mm daguerreotype half length portrait of gentleman in late middle age, three quarter face. Slight tarnishing around edge.
