Pedometer in chromium plated case, the zeroing button within the oval bow. Blued steel hand. Cream card dial marked 1 – 12 MILES and MADE IN FRANCE. The roughly finished movement in plated brass, with snail pace adjustment. The weight stamped Déposé, together with the letters HC for Henri Chatelain, France and a representation of a pedometer or map wheel, also MADE IN FRANCE. 1st half 20th century. 45.5mm dia. Made by Henri Chatelain.
