Pedometer in blued steel case

Pedometer in blued steel case, the brass zeroing button within the oval brass bow. Brass edging to the bezel and brass hinge to the back. Blued steel hands, recording up to 100 on the outer dial, 1000, 10,000 and 100,000 on the three subsidiaries. The greyed, rusting and pitted back stamped within: G7. The partially plated back-plate with some snailing and pace adjustment. The polished and nickel plated weight stamped 15676 BREVETE DRGM SGDG 100237 together with the letters HC for Henri Chatelain, France and a representation of a pedometer or map wheel. c. 1914 45mm dia. Made by Henri Chatelain.
