Drain, British Railways workshops instructor, talks about his early career, being a fitter at Kentish Town, then moving to British Midland Region, and doing his apprenticeship at London St Pancreas. He talks about Derby and Crewe training schools, detailing their education programme. He also mentions Selhurst depot.
