Original 8mm colour silent film. Various footage shot between 1967 and 1969 by C. K. Dunkley and edited together on 400 feet reel and stored in cardboard case. According to notes from the filmmaker on the case the reel includes footage of Lymington Junction, A4 locomotive at Salisbury, Vale of Rheidol, Talyllyn railway, Southampton, Rail Tour on Southern Region, Royal Train filmed in 1968, GC rail tour and Isle of Wight railway. The reel opens with shots of churches and historic buildings. Shot of WCBB 34015 4-6-2 at platform, then departing the station. Shot of rail enthusiasts at lineside photographing BR H Class 31519. Shot of 'Salisbury' plate on a passing steam locomotive. Passenger view footage of tracks. Shots of diesel-electric locomotives from passenger view as they pass by.
