Two Dundalk, Newry & Greenore Railway postcards providing details of a special train from Dundalk to Greenore Golf Club. The first card, dated 3rd December, 1896, advertises a special train service for the Ladies' competition which will leave Dundalk (Quay Street) at 12 noon on Sunday the 5th December for Greenore, calling at intermediate stations. The second card, dated December 23rd, 1896, is for the Gentlemen's competition held at the same club. It states that a special train will leave Dundalk (Quay Street) for Greenore at 12.15pm, and a special train will leave Greenore for Newry at 6.15pm, on the 26th December.
