Medallion, circular centre with cruciform surrounds, issued by the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants to Brother J. Abbotts (mis-spelt as Abbott on the medallion) for loyalty during the "LNW Crisis", 1896. The crisis appears to have centred around 16 men dismissed but later re-instated at Wigan in 1896.
