An Indenture between the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway Company (LB&SCR) and The Pullman Company Limited dated 16th May 1887. Under this the Pullman cars in use on the LB&SCR and the contract to operate them is transferred from Pullman Palace Car Company, the Chicago based company, to the Pullman Company Limited, the British based company. Attached to this is a copy of the agreement between the Pullman Palace Car Company and the London, Brighton and South Coast Company for the provision of Pullman Cars dated 16th May 1877.
