A copy of a letter from D. Greenwood, London Brighton and South Coast Railway, Office of the Superintendent of the Line, London Bridge, to William Forbes, London Brighton and South Coast Railway, General Manager, dated 17th August 1906, suggesting that the Pullman Car "Her Majesty" should be taken out of the three currently in use on the train between Victoria and Brighton and kept for emergencies and Sunday work. It also points out the various structural alterations that would be necessary to the other cars to make this possible.
