A letter from William Forbes, London, Brighton and South Coast Railway, General Manager's Office, London Bridge Station, to T. Powell, Pullman Company, London Bridge Station, dated 19th December 1906, informing him that he had decided to modify the Pullman Car "Her Majesty" so that it could be attached any train and that alterations to make this possible would be carried out. He also states that he has requested that this work be undertaken after the Christmas Holidays.
